How resort valet works at Atlantis and the Palm hotels

Every major Palm resort runs valet parking, and it is the easiest way to handle a supercar on the island. At Atlantis The Royal and Atlantis The Palm you pull under the entrance, hand the keys to the valet team, and they store the car for you. Day guests visiting for a restaurant or the beach club use the same service, so you do not need to be a hotel guest to valet a rental there.

A few things worth knowing before you hand over a Lamborghini or Ferrari. Tell the valet it is a rental and point out the low front splitter so they take the ramps gently. Keep a card on hand for the tip, valet staff across the Palm appreciate AED 20 to 50 depending on the property. And take a quick phone photo of the car before you walk in, which is standard practice with any high-value vehicle and keeps things clean on return.

Hotel guests at the Atlantis properties, One&Only, Waldorf Astoria and the rest usually get valet included or at a reduced resident rate, so check at check-in. For dinner at the Pointe or shopping at Nakheel Mall, both have their own parking, and the mall valet is the simplest option if you are arriving in something low and wide.

Getting around the Palm, the gateway and Salik

The Palm is simple to navigate once you understand the shape. The trunk runs down the middle, the crescent wraps the top, and 16 fronds branch off the trunk like a feather. Villa stays sit on the fronds, which are gated and private, so your delivery and any guests will need the villa details to get past security at the frond entrance.

There is no Salik toll on the Palm itself. You only meet Salik when you head off the island toward Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road or across to Downtown and DIFC. Each gate is AED 4, and on a rental from us the tolls are tracked and settled simply, so a spontaneous run to Dubai Mall or a dinner in Business Bay never turns into a parking-app headache.

If you are pairing the Palm with the wider city, the run from the gateway to Marina is a couple of minutes, Downtown and Burj Khalifa are around 20 to 25 minutes via Sheikh Zayed Road, and DXB airport is roughly 35 minutes depending on traffic.
